Hartlepool United Apprentice Luke James has been named LFE’s Apprentice of the Month for December.
Luke is a great example to all other Apprentices. He is the first Apprentice to sign a professional contract with Hartlepool at seventeen and his attitude is excellent in all aspects.
Luke has made remarkable progress in his football career so far at Hartlepool. After making his full debut away at Oldham on Boxing Day, where he was voted Man of the Match, he went on to score his first goal for the senior squad last weekend in their 2-0 victory against Rochdale.
Luke has also made excellent progress on the Btec programme and with his key skills, showing enthusiasm and an excellent manner with staff. He travels to the Club and College from home each day (a journey of two hours) but his attendance is excellent and his attitude and application are first class.
