Scunthorpe Agree New Contract With Godden

Scunthorpe United have announced that young striker Matt Godden has agreed a new one-year contract with the Club.

The 19-year-old forward who came through the Iron’s Apprenticeship programme signs on for his second season as a professional.

Although he is yet to make a first team appearance, Godden shone during the last campaign while out on loan at Brigg Town and Ilkeston Town.

He also impressed for the reserves towards the end of the season, scoring ten goals for the second string.
