Former Southampton Apprentice Jake Thomson has secured a deal with Exeter City.
The youngster completed his move to the Grecians yesterday afternoon after speaking to Manager Paul Tisdale for just one hour.
The youngster is no stranger to the region having spent a loan spell at rival Torquay United last season.
Speaking about his move, Thomson who has also been capped at international level by Trinidad & Tobago, said:
“My agent called me over the summer and asked if I wanted to come down here and meet the Manager. And after speaking to him for an hour or so I knew I wanted to come and join the Club and I’m very happy to be here.”
“It just impressed me straight away and I told my agent to sort it out and get me here as quick as he could. What the Manager was saying fitted into what I was looking for.”
“He has got a reputation of brining youngsters through, getting them back playing again which is the kind of Manager that would be perfect for me.”
“I was at Torquay for a good while and played in 15/16 games and I enjoyed it. I like the area so I was very happy to come down. I can’t see anything that would suggest I’ve made the wrong choice in joining.”
