Former Leeds United youngster Mike Whitwell has signed for Evo-Stik League Premier Division Club Frickley Athletic after previously spending some of pre-season with the Club.
He has since had trial spells at both York City and Rotherham United but neither materialised into the offer of a contract.
Released by Leeds in June, at the end of his Apprenticeship, the 19 year old striker played and scored in the Blues’ pre-season friendly against Huddersfield Town in July.
