Former Leeds United striker Bobby Davison has joined the Club’s Academy coaching staff on a short term basis.
Leeds recently parted company with Academy Manager Neil Thompson and his assistant Daral Pugh and are now seeking to find long term replacements.
Speaking about the situation, Club Chief Executive, Shaun Harvey said:
“We can’t afford to be complacent about the Academy and we can’t assume that because we’ve produced a great number of players in the past, we’ll automatically continue to do so. We genuinely felt the Academy would benefit from new leadership and fresh ideas.”
