Gosling Hoping For Happy Ending To Plymouth Takeover.

Former Plymouth Argyle midfielder Dan Gosling is hoping the takeover of the club can be completed sooner rather than later to lift the gloom at Home Park.

Peter Reid’s side currently sit rock bottom of the Football League after being a Championship club only two years ago.

What’s more with one point from the first six games the Pilgrims currently find themselves in danger of being marooned at the bottom of the table, already four points behind 23rd placed Hereford.

Despite a possible players strike being averted last weekend, Gosling who is now at Newcastle Utd, is still dismayed to see the club’s precarious position.

“It’s sad times for the club and all the fans down there as well,”

Gosling told Sportinglife.com

“All the lads have moved on since I was there and Joe Mason (Now Cardiff City) who I get on really well with has now left.”

“It’s not a good feeling at the club at the minute but hopefully the takeover can get sorted out and results will pick up soon.”

Gosling came through Argyle’s Apprenticeship programme in 2008 moving to Everton in the January transfer window. He moved on to St James Park in the summer of 2010.
