Alex Lynch Named In Wales U17 Squad

Peterborough United Apprentice Alex Lynch has been named in the Wales U17 squad that travels to Serbia later this month.

The young goalkeeper will be looking to feature in the three games that are scheduled for when they arrive in Serbia on Friday 14th October.

The Dragons will be facing Armenia, Serbia and Lithuania.

“It is always a privilege to be called up by my country and I am looking forward to it,” the shot-stopper told Posh’s matchday magazine.

He continued:

“It is every boy’s dream to play for their country and I am very thankful for the opportunity. I have already played against France, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland and the experience is something that I will always remember.”
