Rest In Peace, Lee Collins

Everyone at League Football Education is saddened to learn the news of the loss of Lee Collins, who has passed away at the age of 32.

Collins was an apprentice at Wolverhampton Wanderers between 2005 and 2007, and went on to carve out a successful career in The EFL, with spells at Hereford United (achieving promotion from the fourth tier), Port Vale, Barnsley, Shrewsbury Town, Northampton Town, Mansfield Town and Forest Green Rovers.

Most recently, Collins spent the past two seasons in the National League with Yeovil Town, captaining the team this term. In all, the experienced defender amassed 470 professional appearances.

LFE sends thoughts and prayers to his friends and family at this difficult time.
