Young Hornets Commit To Watford’s Community Trust

Watford’s second year Apprentices have been spending their time away from the training ground at the Hornets’ Community Trust.

Eleven of the young Hornets have been taking training sessions, at the club’s Player Development Centres, for the U9 to U16 age groups.

Whilst completing their FA Level 2 Coaching in Football qualification, the young hopefuls have ticked off five weeks of coaching experience to count towards their assessment.

The Trust has appreciated the commitment of one hour per week and it has provided the players with first-hand coaching experience.

The youngsters also coordinated a question and answer sessions with the Academy’s younger age groups to gather evidence for their NVQ qualifications.
