Kyle Wins Goal of the Season Award

LFE is pleased to announce that Jarrod Kyle (Sheffield Wednesday) is the winner of LFE’s 2011–12 Academy & Youth Allliance Goal of the Season.

Kyle beat seven fellow Apprentice players, who were all respective Goal of the Month winners, including Owls team mate Tom Rowbotham.

The winning 25-yard thunderbolt, which arrowed into the top corner against local rivals Sheffield United on 7 April, took 48% of the votes.

LFE would like to thank all Clubs who submitted nominations to the monthly competitions throughout the season.

The standard was extremely high again ensuring that the judging panel had some tough decisions to make each month.

LFE’s Goal of the Month competition will return for the 2012-13 season in August.
