In recent seasons, a growing number of Apprentices have taken advantage of the opportunity to undertake a scholarship in America and made the most of funding opportunities, a vibrant and diverse university lifestyle in a new culture and the chance to play football at a good level while at the same time studying towards a degree.
To provide apprentices with support and guidance when exploring this route, LFE has joined forces with FirstPoint USA. In doing so, First Point USA offer a free US Scholarship pathway for apprentices and Community Trust Study Programme learners.
FirstPoint has placed more than 20,000 scholar-athletes over the years, working with around 2,500 colleges and universities in the USA.
