International Call-Up For Callum Camps

First year Rochdale Apprentice Callum Camps has been selected to attend the latest Northern Ireland U18 training camp.

The 16-year-old will join up with the squad at the end of December for two days, and qualifies for selection through his Northern Irish born Grandmother.

Camps is the second youth team player to receive an international call up this season following Jonathan Diba Musangu’s inclusion in the England under 16 goalkeeper training camp earlier this month.

Youth Team Manager Chris Beech commented:

“Callum deserves his opportunity to go and test himself at international level, it is a great accolade and I’m really pleased for him and his family.”

“He has worked really hard, especially in the last two months, and he has done very well for our youth team.”

“This year’s squad is very good and to get accolades at international level for two of our players is fantastic.”
