Coventry City goalkeeper Luke Bell has penned his first professional deal, committing his future to the club for the next two years.
The 18-year-old impressed for the youth team since joining from Wolverhampton Wanderers in early 2020, and was a key part of the team that advanced to the Professional Development League Cup final last term.
“We’re delighted to welcome Luke to the group,” Sky Blues Goalkeeping Coach Aled Williams told the club website. “I’ve known Luke since he was 14, at Wolves, and he has worked hard over the last few seasons, and has earned his first professional deal.
“He is an excellent shot-stopper and is good with the ball at his feet, so he will fit in with our playing style.
“Luke will be based with the Under-23s but will also integrate with us at the Sky Blue Lodge when called upon.”
