Huddersfield Town apprentice Tom Iorpenda has signed his first professional contract, committing his future to the club until the summer of 2025.
The 17-year-old midfielder joined the Terriers from Brighton & Hove Albion prior to the start of last season and made 22 appearances for the Under-17s, as well as nine outings for the Under-19s and one for the B Team.
Huddersfield Town’s B Team Coach, Jon Worthington, told the club website: “Tom thoroughly deserves his first professional contract, which is a huge achievement for every aspiring young footballer.
“He’s enjoyed a really impressive first year at the club, and this shows how far he’s already progressed in such a short time.
“He has a massive appetite to learn and improve, and everyone at the club is looking forward to continuing their work with Tom.”
