Dack Arrives On Wearside

Sunderland have acquired the services of Bradley Dack following the midfielder’s departure from Blackburn Rovers.

Dack, who spent six seasons at with the Lancashire side, has penned a one-year deal at the Stadium of Light, with a club option of a further year.

The former Gillingham Academy graduate joins a Sunderland squad who are hoping to go strongly again this year after surprising everyone last season, making it to the Championship play-off semi-finals in their first season back in the second tier following a four-year spell in League One.

Upon his arrival, the two-time EFL League One Player of the Year said: “It feels brilliant to be here. It’s clear to see the Club is on an upwards trajectory and it’s great to be on board. To play in front of 40,000 people every week at the Stadium of Light was a huge pull for me, there’s not many teams in England can produce those numbers. I hope my experience and style of play can add something different to the group, and I can’t wait to pull on the shirt for the first time.”
