Design A Kit With Kick It Out

Kick It Out, football’s equality and inclusion organisation, is challenging young people to design a kit for their grassroots, community or school football team.

The competition, which is sponsored by the BPP University, will see the overall winner have their design produced for their entire team.

Entries are split into five distinct age categories, with designs considered from entrants as young as five years old.

There will be winners for each of the age categories and further prizes to be won.

The winners will be announced at a special prize giving ceremony, to be held at the National Football Museum in Manchester on Wednesday 24 June 2015.

Hayley Bennett, Education Officer at Kick It Out, said: “Involving young people to get creative and enthusiastic about designing a kit for their nominated team helps to encourage positive messages about the importance of togetherness and celebrating diversity.”

“We hope to engage young people up and down the country who support or play for a local team to use their creative skills to promote Kick It Out’s messages of equality and to produce a kit the team will be proud to wear.”

Carl Lygo, Vice Chancellor of BPP University, said: ??“BPP are delighted to support Kick It Out’s creative kit design competition.

“Kick It Out and BPP University share many common values, and we’re all really looking forward to seeing what innovative ideas the young people produce for their nominated teams.”

Competition entry closes on Friday 29 May 2015. Entry packs can be downloaded from here.
