Cadamarteri Impressing for the Imps

Bailey Cadamarteri continued his fine start to life on loan at Lincoln City by scoring the winning goal in the Imps’ 2-1 home win against Stockport County on Saturday.

Fellow forward Ben House cancelled out Isaac Olaofe’s early opener for Stockport before Cadamarteri completed Lincoln’s comeback in the 66th minute, rising highest from a Dom Jefferies corner to head home and seal all three points for Michael Skubala’s side.

The 19-year-old striker featured in the latest edition of LFE’s Touchline magazine in August and spoke of his desire to add more goals to his career tally whilst on loan at Sincil Bank. “I just want to play,” he told LFE. “I’ve signed a long-term contract at Sheffield Wednesday but first things first I want to play here at Lincoln and score some more goals. I’ve got five so far in my career, so to increase that tally this season would be great.”

Since then, Cadamarteri has already almost doubled that tally, finding the net on four occasions in 12 matches.
