Cambridge United have announced the signing of former apprentice Esapa Osong on loan from Nottingham Forest until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old striker spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Rotherham United, however Forest recently recalled him from his loan in South Yorkshire.
Discussing his move to Cambridge, Osong said: “I am really excited to get going – I just want to play football now. It’s a big opportunity for me and I am ready to take it.”
Manager Gary Monk added: “I am delighted to welcome Esapa to the Club. He is highly regarded, has all the attributes needed to be a success and is hungry to do well. I am looking forward to working with him over the coming months.”
