Ikechi Anya – Wycombe Wanderers

Ikechi-anya

Ikechi made his first team debut for Wycombe on 11 September 2004 as a 16-year old apprentice, becoming the club’s youngest ever player.

Having signed a two-year professional contract with Wycombe in June 2005, he has continued to work hard towards both completing the BTEC National Award in Sport and attempting to break into the first team on a regular basis.
Ikechi was thrilled to earn the League Two Apprentice of the Award.

“It makes all the hard work you have to do as an Apprentice worthwhile…and although I’m not in the team at the moment my performances in the Youth Team and reserves will hopefully be noticed and I’ll be back in the reckoning soon.”
