Ex Apprentice Jamie Green also took the plaudits after he was named the Clubs Young Player of the Year. The ex ASE graduate has impressed at left back this term justifying Mark Robins’ confidence in him.
Meanwhile Rotherham manager Mark Robins has been casting his eye over ex Sheffield Wednesday Apprentice Liam McMenamin.
The 20-year-old defender is on trial at the Don Valley Stadium and featured for the Millers’ reserves in a 1-0 defeat to Leeds at Elland Road on Tuesday night.
McMenamin has yet to make his first-team debut at Hillsborough but has been named on the Owls’ bench twice this season.
Robins also ran the rule over former LFE Blogger Mark Grocott and Tom Thorley (both Stoke City) at Elland Road.
