Robins Raid!

Paul Bodin

Swindon Town’s Apprentices recently took time out after training to raid the County ground boot-room in support of The Boots for Africa appeal.

The Robin’s youngsters decided to do there bit after hearing about the appeal via LFE’s ASE activity pack.

Paul Bodin Youth Team Coach explained;

“The lads and myself were quite moved to learn about the conditions and lack of equipment that children in Africa have to endure. It’s amazing to think that we can make a positive impact on a child’s life by just collecting and cleaning up boots that are no long of use to us at the club.”

“We fully support this appeal and would urge anyone who has old boots that are no longer of use to donate them to The Boots for Africa appeal.”
