At last I am now back in full training and since my last blog I have played five games including two for the reserves. It is such a relief waking up everyday knowing that I am going to train or play and not having to go to the gym.
We have drawn Everton in the third round of the Youth Cup and all of the lads are looking forward to what will be a big challenge and the excitement of playing under floodlights at Selhurst Park. This will be the first time playing ‘At home’ for most of the lads as we had two away games in the Cup last year. This is my third and final year of being able to play in this competition and I really look forward to these games. You get to play teams from all over the country, play at some big stadiums, play under floodlights and potentially a big crowd.
In my last blog I was saying how well Jonny Williams was doing. Unfortunately, Jonny broke his leg whilst he was away with Wales U21’s. He has been told that it is a clean break and we really hope he can play some part towards the end of the season. Everyone at the club wishes him well.
