Day 7 – Ouch!

Woke up this morning optimistic about the day ahead. My legs feel refreshed from the rest and my niggling injury in my hamstring had settled down substantially over the weekend. As part of our apprenticeship we complete a course in coaching provided by the P.F.A with Jamie Robinson being our regional tutor. So this morning we were taken for our introduction and Jamie informed us of what was expected from us in order for us to achieve our coaching badge. Therefore a relatively easy session! I should have known better! Before we were allowed back up for lunch Ady (our academy coach) set out a very challenging running session. This proved a little too much for the not yet fully recovered injury that I had picked up a few days earlier and was forced to spend the rest of the day receiving treatment for a very sore hamstring.
