QPR youngster Amrit Bansal-McNulty will remain at the club for the foreseeable future having signed his first professional contract, agreeing a one-year deal.
The attacking midfielder was given a third-year scholarship deal last summer, and following an impressive year in the Under-23s, has earned an extra 12 months.
He told the club website: “This is a dream come true. I am absolutely buzzing and want to make sure that I take this opportunity. This is the start for me, the hard work starts now. You can never think you have made it or think you’re safe – you have to always set new goals and strive to achieve more. This is what I’ll be looking to do.
“I am excited about the new season. I know the new manager (Mark Warburton) has a reputation for working with younger players, so I can’t wait. It’s up to us to make sure we take our chance.”
“The last year has been a big one for me. I feel I have improved a lot as a player but I’ve still got a lot of work ahead and a long way to go. Now I can’t wait for the new season to start.”
