Rochdale have signed Nicky Adams from Brentford on loan, with a view to making the move permanent in January.
The former Welsh U21 International has previously enjoyed a loan spell at the Club two seasons ago, when he was at Leicester City.
The midfielder was a graduate of Bury’s Apprenticeship programme who then signed for Leicester City. He signed for Brentford this summer after being released by the Foxes.
He told the Club website: “When I got down to Brentford it was a bit stop-start, which was disappointing.”
He added: “It meant the supporters didn’t get to see the best of me, and after a conversation with the Manager we agreed that a move was probably best for all concerned.”
