Congratulations go to Pietro Palladino of Wycombe Wanderers as March 2009’s Apprentice of the Month.
As a first year Apprentice Pietro has featured heavily in the Chairboys Youth team squad and has shown versatility playing in several different positions.
Most comfortable as a shadow striker, he has also played in central midfield and as a wide player on both flanks over the course of the season.
His attitude on the pitch is typical of the way that he carries out all aspects of his Apprenticeship as he shows the same enthusiasm, energy and effort with his studies, his training and his duties around the training ground.
Academically he has produced BTEC work to distinction level and has provided excellent evidence for the NVQ that is very nearly complete after year one. Due to the level of commitment to his studies Pietro is undertaking extra units to complete the BTEC National Diploma.
“He is a polite, level headed young man who always does more than required for the work he is set. Added to his excellent attitude, he is also extremely polite and a credit to the Club. He has set the standard in terms of attitude and professionalism for all future Apprentices to aspire to at WWFC.” (Richard Dobson, Head of Youth)
