Bradford City CT Students Ready to Embark on New Beginnings

Bradford City Community Foundation recently hosted representatives from League Football Education to catch up with some of their second-year learners who are set to soon embark on new journeys following the completion of their BTEC studies in July.

Bailey, one of the foundation’s standout students shared his plans to enrol at Leeds Beckett University in September, where he plans to study Physical Education. With an immense passion for sport and education, he is well on track to achieve his dream of becoming a PE teacher.

Ethan, another exceptional student, discussed his upcoming move to the USA where he plans to do a scholarship. As a student-athlete, he will be studying and playing football in Mississippi thanks to LFE’s partnership with First Point USA. This incredible opportunity is testament to his hard work and dedication to his studies.

Finally Crystal, who was recently named LFE’s ‘Learner of the Term’ for January to April will be staying in Bradford to complete a Foundation Degree in Sports Coaching with the University of South Wales. Crystal’s decision to further her education locally highlights the strong support and opportunities available within the local community. She intends to become a full-time coach in the future.

The visit was a great insight into the fantastic work that Bradford’s Community Foundation do.

Video footage of the day will soon be available to view on our social media channels.
