Bristol Rovers BTEC Student Rawlings Features In Matchday Programme

First-year Bristol Rovers Community Trust learner Katie Rawlings featured as the cover star for Rovers Women’s matchday programme against Bristol & West.

The teenager is the youngest member of the first-team squad, but has integrated seamlessly, following up an impressive pre-season with a player of the match performance on her senior debut.

Midfielder Rawlings was highlighted in the programme via a double-page spread question and answer story.

Speaking about the BTEC Level 3 in Sport course, she said: “Studying at Rovers and playing for the women’s team has helped me so much. It’s helped me to develop as a player and I feel like I can really fit into the club.

“The opportunities that we get as part of the BTEC course are amazing and I’d certainly recommend any girl who is studying for their GCSEs at the moment, to enrol with Rovers.”
