Former LFE apprentice and last year’s EFL League One Player of the Season Harrison Burrows has joined Sheffield United.
The 22-year-old, who was Peterborough United’s captain last season, has signed for the Blades for an undisclosed fee on a four year contract.
Burrows, who was with the Posh since the age of six, played a key role for Duncan Ferguson’s side in the 2023/24 campaign as they narrowly missed out on promotion. The full-back also scored both goals in their EFL Trophy final win over Wycombe Wanderers.
After putting pen-to-paper at Brammall Lane, Burrows said: “It’s time to step up. I’m relishing another chance in the Championship.
“The size of the club speaks for itself – the manager and the players that have already come in this summer, it was a given for me really.
“The manager has told me what he wants from me and I’m excited by the type of games that I’ll be playing in.”
