Trouble In The Pit Lane
There were no games on Monday after the tournament matches. We were all up for breakfast at the usual time then departed for a swimming session at the local baths. We all felt better after a swim and a jacuzzi to get the stiffness out of our legs…
Tournament Kicks Off
On Saturday 25th July we arrived at the hotel in Ostersund and joined up with Hartlepool and Barnsley who were staying in the same hotel. Initially there was some confusion in terms of room allocation. This was soon sorted out and we then went to our allocated rooms.

Team Building & Quiz Foul Play
The team building was an interesting experience. This involved all of the lads being split up into groups of four. Each group was given a recording document that was completed and stamped after each successful activity…
Good Result, Great Start
The match against GIF Sundsvall was not only a good result but also a good experience for the team, myself and also for the coaching staff – the match ended 2-1 to Rotherham United.

Pre-Season Tour Kicks Off
It’s now our 2nd day in Sweden and so far we have trained twice at the Sundsvall Stadium. The stadium’s facilities are excellent and the pitch is a good standard as well. The stadium staff have been very friendly and welcoming to everyone, they provided us with training equipment and have also offered to clean our training kit!

Decision Day…

Onwards and Upwards
I went up for the training camp in Scotland twelve days ago and that was very enjoyable. It was a preparatory for the European Championships in Turin in May. I Got Four!
This week was by far one of the most enjoyable weeks for me at Nottingham Forest. On Monday I reported for training at 8.30 like usual and cleaned the first team boots before heading to education. We’ve almost finished our education programme so I got a bit of work done to edge nearer to completing my course…
Tough Treadmill Test
Youth Alliance Match: Carlisle United v Stockport County
We played Stockport County at Creighton last Saturday and it was difficult conditions for us yet again. The wind was blowing strongly but I thought we dealt with it quite well, and we played some decent stuff…
Just Unbelievable…
Youth Alliance Match: Carlisle United v Port Vale
Well, the weekend started rather badly for me for me this time, but it definitely got better as it went on! I started the game for the Youth team against Port Vale on the Saturday morning but I didn’t last very long.

Highs and Lows
This week was a mixed sort of week with highs and lows. To start off I didn’t train on Monday morning because I had to attend a funeral…
