Proud to be Nominated
Cumberland Cup Match: Carlisle United Reserves v Whitehaven FC
The good thing about playing for the Reserves at Carlisle United is that we are involved in a County competition called the Cumberland Cup.

Man Flu!
This week was an eventful week to say the least, full of ups and downs! To start with I was still injured from the game against Middlesbrough and it meant I had to come in on Sunday to do some extra training and try jogging with the physio. Sunday’s are still not the best days for me because I’m always half asleep more so than other days…
Punished By Rovers
Match: Carlisle United Reserves v Morecambe Reserves
Our next game was a Reserve home fixture against Morecambe on the Brunton Park pitch. We started off really well but ended up losing the game by 2 – 1.

Through to the 5th Round
With us playing Cardiff on the Friday, it meant we had Saturday off which was a nice change. I watched Soccer AM in the morning which is something I don’t generally get chance to do with me playing on Saturday mornings usually. It was a real joke as normal, banter is always flying on that programme…
Nowhere Near It!
Match: Sheffield United Reserves v Carlisle United Reserves
We had another Central League Cup game to play against Sheffield United on the Wednesday, and it was a competition that we hadn’t been doing too well in.

Shocking Penalty
We returned back to training in the New Year on the 5th of January. We had broken up on the 19th of December, which meant we had a two week break from the football and in a way it was nice to have that off because you get to re-energise yourself and have a rest to get back and work hard for the remainder of the year which is important…
Last of the Christmas Pudding
We were allowed to go home two days before Christmas, which was good, as it gave me the chance to spend a bit of time with my family and friends.

Training Camp at Hampden
FA Youth Cup Match: Carlisle United v Crewe Alexandra
We played Crewe in the third round of the FA Youth Cup and we were all up for it. It was reminiscent of last year and we all wanted to get through to the fourth round and get a big tie. Unfortunately we were 1 – 0 down within 20 minutes and it became very difficult. There just wasn’t a response from the lads, and we were all a bit flat.

Jeremy Kyle Again!
This week was a bit different because we had a mid-week game. We started off the week by training on Sunday, a day earlier than usual because normally we have a game on a Saturday and have Sunday off, but because we had a game on the Friday it meant we had Saturday off and then training on Sunday – hopefully you got that!..
Initiation Ceremony
I was quite surprised when I got the call up to travel with the first team for the Grays Athletic game, and we went down to London on the Friday. We stayed in a similar hotel to the one that we used for the Millwall match on the Tuesday. It was a decent hotel, not too far from the ground, so that wasn’t too bad.

Youth Cup Preparation
For the start of this week it was like any normal week…double day Monday, double day Tuesday, education Wednesday, but a single session on Thursday because we were playing Portsmouth on Friday…
Full of Beans
At the start of the week I was still a bit frustrated from losing the game at the weekend to Huddersfield, but I wanted to train hard this week to try and make amends this weekend against Sheffield Wednesday…
