Crystal Palace last night confirmed the deadline day arrival of Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell on loan for the remainder of the season.
The former Leicester City apprentice has been out of the picture at Stamford Bride this season and has played just 45 minutes of competitive football since April last year.
Discussing his move to Selhurst Park, Chilwell said: “I’m very excited to be here. Crystal Palace is a club that’s going in a great direction. You look at the last few months, with the results and how the team’s playing, and it was a no-brainer to make the decision to come here.”
