Coventry Welcome New Apprentices To Club

The 2013-14 season may not be quite over for those still involved in the play-offs but Coventry City’s Academy preparations for 2014-15 began in earnest last week when they officially signed six new apprentice players.

Jay Albini, Jordan Shipley, Bassala Sambou, Jacob Whitmore, Corey Addai and Callum Maycock all signed two-year apprenticeship deals with the Sky Blues and will join the club for pre-season training in July – here Academy manager Richard Stevens outlines the process and his hopes for the club’s latest intake of players.
