Fisher Joins Zebras

Charles Fisher

Doncaster Rovers defender Charles Fisher has joined Unibond League First Division South side Brigg Town, on loan until the 8th December 2009.

Fisher, a product of Doncaster Rovers Youth system, was offered his first professional contract by Rovers boss Sean O’Driscoll this summer following a successful Apprenticeship at the Club.

The youngster who has yet to feature for Rovers competitively this term will now be looking to improve the fortunes of a Brigg Town side that currently lie in 17th position in the league.

He is expected to go straight into the Zebras’ side to face Goole AFC in tonight’s President’s Cup clash.
