Crewe Alexandra have announced that exciting young prospect Matus Holicek has signed a new long-term deal with the club.
Holicek, who represents Slovakia at youth level and has been at Crewe since the age of nine, turned 18 today and has celebrated his special day by putting pen to paper on a new professional contract.
The deal runs until the summer of 2025, with the option of a further two years.
Holicek said: “I’m delighted and grateful to everyone who has supported me, my family, coaches, and everyone else along the way.
“It’s very exciting and I just can’t wait to put in more hard work and see where it takes me.”
