Jennings Scores Winner

Second year Apprentice Dale Jennings’ first senior goal earned Tranmere Rovers a 1-0 win at Bristol Rovers on Tuesday night.

The 17 year old Apprentice, making his second senior start, fired in an unstoppable left-foot shot on the stroke of half time to lift Les Parry’s side off the foot of the table.

The result which saw Tranmere record their first away win of the season will be welcome boost to confidence ahead of Saturday’s home fixture against table topping Brighton & Hove Albion.
