Job Opportunity | Apprenticeship Regional Officer – Serving North West of England

League Football Education (LFE) was established in 2004 by The English Football League (EFL) and the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) to deliver the education of 16 – 18 year old apprentice footballers at EFL clubs.  

As a Regional Officer, you will support a caseload of apprentices at clubs within your region, however, extensive travel will be required (including overnight stays) as part of the role. 

You will be required to maintain very high achievement rates by providing support and guidance to the apprentices and by ensuring effective partnership working with the employers and delivery partners. 

Educated to degree standard or equivalent and teacher qualified, you will be motivated, organised, IT literate and ideally have experience of working on the Sporting Excellence Professional Standard.

This role requires Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Checks and is exempt from Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974). Applicants will be asked about any previous convictions, cautions, reprimands that are considered ‘unspent’ as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exemptions) Order 1975 (Amended 2013). Background checks and an enhanced DBS will be required as appropriate to the role and any offer will be subject to the receipt of satisfactory checks.
