Job Opportunity | Assistant Quality Manager – Study Programme

Full time contract – Office Based/Hybrid working with travel throughout England

League Football Education (LFE) was established in 2004 by The English Football League (EFL) and The Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA). LFE delivers the Sporting Excellence Professional Apprenticeship to the 16 to 18-year-old apprentice footballers at EFL professional football clubs. We also deliver a full time 16-19 Study Programme to various Club Community Organisations (CCOs), who complete sport related qualifications in order to progress to University or full-time employment.

LFE is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Quality Manager to join their Quality Team with the main focus of the role being on the Study Programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to ensure all quality assurance related activities are carried out, monitored and evaluated in line with the quality improvement strategy and annual quality plans.

Educated to degree standard or equivalent and teacher qualified, you will be motivated, organised, IT literate and have experience of working in education and training, including a working knowledge of Ofsted Inspection and the Education Inspection Framework. You will have excellent communication skills, ensuring effective partnership working with staff and stakeholders, including with CCOs, football club academy and delivery partner staff.

The role is full-time, based at the Head Office in Preston with hybrid working. The role also involves travelling (including overnight stays) to CCOs and football club academies throughout England to conduct Quality Visits, learning walks and lesson/ learner journey observations.

An attractive remuneration package is available, including fully expensed car or car allowance, contributory pension, life assurance and private healthcare. Holiday entitlement of 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays per annum.
