Job Opportunity: LFE Regional Officer

Regional Officer – Based in South West (Ideally Bristol based)

League Football Education (LFE) was established in 2004 by The English Football League (EFL) and the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) to manage the education of 16 to 18-year-old apprentice footballers at EFL clubs. LFE coordinates the programme working with apprentices, clubs, colleges and PFA coaches to ensure the delivery of an effective programme.

As a Regional Officer, you will manage a caseload of apprentices at various EFL clubs. Your allocation of clubs will be regionalised, however, extensive travel may be required (including overnight stays) as part of the role.

You will be required to maintain very high achievement rates by providing support and guidance to the apprentices and by ensuring effective partnership working with the employers and education providers.

Educated to degree standard or equivalent and teacher qualified, you will be motivated, organised, IT literate and have experience of working on the Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence programme.

This role requires Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Checks and is exempt from Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974). Therefore, all convictions including spent convictions that have not been subject to filtering by the DBS should be declared.
