League Football Education (LFE) was established in 2004 by The English Football League (EFL) and The Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) to deliver the Sporting Excellence Apprenticeship to the 16-18 year old apprentice footballers at EFL clubs and a full-time 16-19 Study Programme to the various Club Community Organisations (CCOs), who complete sport related qualifications in order to progress to university or full-time employment.
As the tutor you will work with Fleetwood Town Community Organisation to provide high-quality learning experiences to students preparing for their English GCSE resit exams/Functional Skills (FS) tests ensuring they understand key concepts, improve their skills and have the best possible chance of success and maintain the highest professional standards in the delivery on behalf of LFE.
Educated to degree standard in English and teacher qualified (level 5 or above), you will be motivated, organised, IT literate and have experience of working in 14-19 educational environment.
The role is part-time, 1 day a week for 6.5 hours, based at Fleetwood Town Community Organisation with occasional travel to conferences. An attractive remuneration package is available.
