Keeper Mills Joins Glentoran

Former LFE apprentice Andrew Mills has signed for Northern Ireland Football League Premiership side, Glentoran FC.

Mills, who was part of the 2010 – 2012 LFE apprenticeship cohort whilst coming through the ranks at Macclesfield Town, moved out to Sweden in 2014 through LFE’s Player Placement Programme where he signed for Arnas IF.

In 2017, the 30-year-old shot stopper moved to Ostersunds who were managed by Graham Potter at the time and was part of the Ostersunds squad who famously made it to the last 32 of the Europa League in 2018 before being narrowly eliminated by Arsenal.

Mills spent seven years at the Jamtkraft Arena, but has now decided to come back to British shores and ply his trade in the progressive NIFL Premiership.
