Leeds United have announced the signing of former LFE apprentice Jayden Bogle from Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United.
The 23-year-old full-back, who was an apprentice at Derby County before graduating through the Rams’ youth system, has penned a four-year deal at Elland Road.
Bogle made an impressive breakthrough at Derby County in the 2018/19 season, going onto play two full first team seasons at Pride Park.
In the summer of 2020, Bogle signed for Sheffield United who were competing in the Premier League at the time.
After relegation back to the Championship at the end of his first season, the former England U20 international became an integral part of the Blades’ first team squad and was instrumental in their 2022/23 promotion winning campaign back to the top flight.
Following a tough season upon their return to the Premier League, in which Sheffield United were relegated again, Bogle has now swapped South Yorkshire for West Yorkshire.
Speaking after signing his contract at Leeds United, Bogle said: “It’s a massive club and opportunity. I’ve come to play my best and create history together.”
