Martin Expects Tough Ride For Canaries

Norwich City striker Chris Martin has admitted that he expects the Championship to provide a stern test to the Canaries as they return to the Division.

Martin, who was in prolific form last term scoring 23 times as Norwich won League One at a canter, expects a tough ride this time out.

He said:

“It’s going to be a lot harder I think this year. The Championship is a very competitive league with a lot of big teams who think they should possibly be in a league higher.”

“But we’ve signed some good lads, some talented boys with good experience and hopefully we’ll gel as a squad and push on this year.”
