Harrogate Town have announced the signing of Bryn Morris from League Two rivals Newport County for an undisclosed fee.
A former apprentice, Morris began his career at Middlesbrough and has since gone on to represent a whole host of clubs in the football league.
The defensive midfielder enjoyed a successful stint with Newport, netting an impressive 10 goals in 65 league appearances for the Exiles. He also scored in their narrow defeat to Manchester United in the FA Cup last season.
Discussing his move to Harrogate, Morris said: “I’m delighted to be here and looking forward to getting going.
“The Manager explained to me what the club was like and the kind of people they have here, honest hard working lads, and explained where he sees me fitting into that.
“I like to get forward and show my range of passing and energy, I’ll always give 100% and try and help the team where I can.
“Over the last few seasons in this league we’ve seen anyone can beat anyone and it’s now about putting a run together, getting some form and you never know where that can take you.”
