Mansfield Town Futsal Learner Adam Holland is looking forward to starting a foundation degree while also keeping his hand in at the club’s Community Trust.
Adam completed the Futsal study programme with Mansfield Town Community Trust this year leaving with an Extended Diploma in Sport at DDD grade.
Throughout his 2 years with Mansfield Adam has demonstrated a continuous hard working attitude in the classroom and has relished the opportunity to study and continue to play football at the same time.
On the Futsal pitch Adam played in a defensive role and his reliability at the back secured him a place in the National side. He was fully committed and rarely missed a training session which allowed him to develop over the 2 years he spent with the Trust. Throughout that time, Adam demonstrated great leadership skills and was chosen to be joint Captain of the squad.
He always had a desire to go into Higher Education with a particular interest in physiotherapy so when it came to completing his UCAS application, Adam applied to several universities around the UK to access a Foundation Degree in Exercise Science (Injury Management). He accepted a place at Vision West Notts University Centre linked with Derby University with the intention to top up to a BSc (Hons).
He has also been offered and accepted a part-time job with Mansfield’s Community Trust as a Support Coach / Media from September.
