Nominations for the 2024 LFE Apprentice of the Season Award will stop being accepted exactly a week today.
Nominations will be considered on a divisional basis, with one winner per division, receiving national recognition at the 2024 EFL Awards. (Please note that nominations are limited to one player per club). The EFL Awards evening will take place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Sunday 14th April 2024.
Players registered as a first-year or second-year scholar, or as a first-year professional (if he started on an Apprenticeship contract and then converted at 17 to a pro contract) are eligible for this award.
In judging the award, the record of the player in all competitions since he became an apprentice will be taken into account, alongside his education attainment, disciplinary record and any other activities of note or outstanding achievements.
Nomination forms have been sent out by The EFL to all academies and can also be downloaded here. Once the form is completed, please upload it together with the necessary supporting information to your EFL Portal club folder. Details of where to upload have been sent to Academy Managers and Academy Secretaries.
The deadline to nominate apprentices for this award is WEDNESDAY 6th MARCH 2024.
