Game day. I chilled all day ready for kick off at 7pm. We played Montevallo from Alabama. My mate Steers plays for them, he played with me at Chesterfield in my first year.
The game didn’t go as we wanted, from the start we made two mistakes and they punished us. On the day they were the better team, we didn’t play as well as we could have and it was a very disappointing result.
Even though we got knocked out of the nationals in the quarter finals, it’s still been a quality season. We won the treble but we all feel we should have won the Nationals as well as we had got so far. But life goes on and it’ll make us stronger next season.
