Huddersfield Town youngster James Spencer has signed a six month loan deal with Morecambe.
The 18 year old striker graduated from the ASE programme this summer and is highly rated by the Terriers.
Last season Spencer hit seven goals in twenty games for their Academy side last year and added a further three goals in ten games for the Reserves.
Shrimpers Assistant boss Mark Lillis, a former Huddersfield player himself, said he was delighted to maintain the links with his former Club.
He said:
“Huddersfield have been great with us and I am looking forward to working with Jimmy. I saw him a couple of times last year and he is a strong lad for his age who holds the ball up well. He will certainly add to our squad and will learn a lot while he is here.’‘
