Three CT Learners Make Pro Step Up

On Saturday, three Southend United Community Trust Study Programme learners made their first team debuts for Southend United’s senior team.

George Pulham, Ronnie Blake and Jake Huet were called up to The Shrimpers’ pre-season trip to Bishop Stortford by Manager Kevin Maher after impressing for the Community Trust team in recent months.

Southend ran out 1-4 winners, with all three youngsters making their maiden appearances off the bench as second half substitutes.
