Tranmere Support Boots for Africa

Tranmere

As the season draws to a close Tranmere Rovers Apprentices have made sure that their worn boots will be put to good use this summer by donating them to the Boots For Africa Appeal.

The boots which are hand delivered by Representatives from Sheffield FC to youngsters in South Africa will make a real difference to young African footballers.

Speaking on behalf of the club Rovers stalwart Warwick Rimmer (pictured far right) said;

“We were happy to support this initiative and give a little back to a very worthy cause. We managed to link in with St Helens RLF Club with whom we have strong links so the lads have also been across to collect boots from them so it’s very much a donation from both parties”
